Hi Luca!

Welcome to the forum!

Usually Google translate does quite a good job, but if you have any problem understanding anything, please feel free to send any administrator a private message and we'll gladly help you.

Congratulations on getting a ZX Uno!

Hi Luca.

Welcome to this forum. This is a Spanish board, but I guess most of us speak English (we learned to read English in the 80s the hard way: translating on-screen messages word-by-word with a dictionary).

How was the 8bit generation in the 80s in Italy? I heard the most successful platforms were Spectrum and C64. What were your memories?

Here at Spain the bestsellers were ZX Spectrum (and the later Amstrad models +2 and +3), and Amstrad CPC 464/6128. Commodore C64 and MSX sales were lower (mostly due to high prices) and they were less popular (although widely known thanks to then-widespread MicroMania magazine), and in small towns their users were very scattered. Dragon and 8bit Ataris (400/800/65) were far less popular, sales were rock-bottom, and software and hardware were hard to find except in major towns.
